Selection Process

The Indian Coast Guard sailor recruitment follows a four-stage evaluation process to ensure the best candidates are selected:

  2. Physical fitness test, including a 1.6-kilometer run in 7 minutes, along with 20 sit-ups and 10 push-ups
  3. Document verification
  4. Medical examination held at INS Chilka
